The Perfect Vegas Weekend!

Thanks to Grandma Connie we were able to take a weekend off and go to Las Vegas with our great friends the Bakers. We had an absolute blast! It was the perfect get away weekend!

LAS VEGAS

Bellagio Water Show:

Our favorite site to see in Vegas is the Bellagio water show. It is spectacular! The water moves flawlessly to the music.

Saturday morning we were talked into going to the Hoover Dam to see the bridge that is being built there. We really didn't quite understand how phenomenal is was until we were able to see it for ourselves. It is a sure sight to see!!!

Phantom of the Opera:

We were able to see Phantom of the Opera again...this time with the Bakers. It was absolutely fabulous and even better the second time around!

We stayed at the Trump Hotel while there in Vegas. It was beautiful... top notch!

Bowling:

Somehow everyone was really catching on to this whole bowling thing... you know... strikes n spares. Well, I never quite got that. The more we played the worse I got. I think I tried every way to get that ball to go straight... even the granny roll! I mean...look at the stance... go figure right?!

Dance:

The guys had a great time with this. While we were there these two guys came up during our turn and watched until we finished. After we were done we saw that they were going to play... well, I wouldn't really say play... It was an art... a sport. They were awesome! Excellent doesn't even begin took describe them. They had completely mastered the dance!

Gordie Brown:

The main reason for going to Vegas... besides the guys birthdays was to see Gordie Brown. He is a singing comedian. Man was he funny! We laughed until we cried! We had seen him as the opening act for Celine Dion when she came to Phoenix back in December. We thought that he was so funny that we just had to see him again.

What a great weekend!
